Manuscript Submission Requirements
To ensure a smooth submission process, please prepare the following materials:
Complete Manuscript
- Format: Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx) or PDF
- Font: Times New Roman, 12pt, double-spaced
- Margins: 1 inch on all sides
- Page numbers on all pages
- Chapter headings clearly marked
Synopsis
- Length: 500-1000 words
- Include main plot points, themes, and unique selling points
- Written in third person, present tense
- Avoid spoilers for mystery/thriller genres
Author Biography
- Length: 200-300 words
- Include relevant writing experience
- Mention any publications, awards, or recognition
- Personal background relevant to the book
- Professional headshot photo (optional)
Sample Chapters
- First 3 chapters or 50 pages (whichever is less)
- Must be consecutive chapters from the beginning
- Same formatting as complete manuscript
Content Guidelines
We welcome diverse voices and stories. However, submissions must adhere to these content guidelines:
What We Publish
- Original, unpublished works (or works where you retain rights)
- Fiction: Literary, Commercial, Genre (Mystery, Romance, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, etc.)
- Non-fiction: Memoir, Self-help, Business, History, Science, etc.
- Poetry collections (minimum 60 pages)
- Children's and Young Adult literature
- Academic and Educational texts
- Regional literature in Indian languages
What We Don't Publish
- Content promoting hate, discrimination, or violence
- Plagiarized or copyright-infringing material
- Purely promotional or advertorial content
- Works under 20,000 words (except poetry/children's books)
- Previously published works without clear rights
- Content violating Indian laws or regulations

- Well-developed plot and characters (fiction)
- Thorough research and factual accuracy (non-fiction)
- Professional writing quality and grammar
- Clear and engaging narrative voice

- Right to purchase author copies at 40-50% discount
- Approval rights on cover design and major edits
Royalty Structure
- Print Books: 10-15% of net selling price
- E-books: 25-35% of net selling price
- Audiobooks: 15-20% of net selling price
- International sales: 10% of net receipts
- Bulk/corporate sales: 5-10% of net receipts
Payment Terms
- Royalties calculated quarterly
- Payment within 30 days of quarter end
- Minimum payment threshold: ₹1,000
- Detailed sales reports provided
- Direct bank transfer or cheque payment
